Andrea B. Mayfield

Andrea has worked effectively as both an internal and external organization development consultant in a variety of industries. Currently, she brings 15+ years experience in organization development and career management to her clients through her external consulting practice. Her principal focus is working with leaders at all levels to identify, plan and pursue development needs for themselves and the organization.

Andrea's external consulting practice has three major focal points: Organization Development, Individual/Leadership Development and Executive Meeting Facilitation. In her organization development work, Andrea provides consulting services to all levels of management to improve the relationships and processes between and among individuals and groups. These services include confidential assistance in evaluating systems, designing strategies for change, and implementing interventions. In the individual/leadership development arena, she designs, manages and evaluates individual and system-wide career development programs. Andrea provides executive meeting facilitation and off-site design & delivery. This work involves providing assistance in defining goals, setting agendas, and actively facilitating the meeting to maximize effectiveness and outcome.

Her broad experience was developed through internal consulting work with a high technology environment at NASA, within a retail/sales organization at Mary Kay Cosmetics and within the transportation industry at American Airlines.

Andrea has an Organization Development Certificate from Georgetown University, a M.A. in Community Counseling from the University of Maryland and a B.A. in Psychology from Dickinson College. In addition, she has numerous professional certifications for individual/group assessments and training sessions.
